has toured and recorded with Cyndi Lauper, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, the Pat Travers Band, Blackjack with Michael Bolton, Johnny Winter, Bo Diddley Robin Gibb, The Monkees, Joe Lynn Turner, Lou Christie, Derek St. Holmes and more. Gennaro is a frequent and favorite counselor at David Fishof’s Rock and Roll Fantasy Camps. As an author, Sandy has written for Modern Drummer Magazine and is the creator of “Drum Basics” (DVD/Book-Alfred Publications) and “Contemporary Rock Styles for the Drums” (CD/Book-Hal Leonard Publ). Sandy created the music business program at The Collective in NYC, where he taught master classes and private students.
